Essen/Berlin, 1 April 2019. At today’s regular meeting, the Board of Trustees of the RAG-Stiftung appointed Dr. Jürgen-Johann Rupp to be the new Chief Financial Officer of the RAG-Stiftung.

Essen/Berlin, 3 December 2018. At today’s regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the RAG-Stiftung, Dr. Helmut Linssen announced that he was resigning from his position as the RAG-Stiftung’s Chief Financial Officer as of 1 April 2019.

Essen, 5 June 2018. In the tenth year of its existence, the RAG-Stiftung can look back on yet another successful fiscal year. At its annual press conference, which was held today for the first time at the new headquarters of the RAG-Stiftung and RAG at the UNESCO World Heritage Site Zollverein in Essen, the foundation’s Board of Executives reported on the business developments of the past fiscal year and offered a look at a future without coal mining in Germany.

Essen, May 30, 2017. The RAG-Stiftung has proceeded with its successful work in 2016 and is continuing to systematically prepare for the end of German coal mining in 2018. At today’s annual press conference in Essen, the Board of Executives reviewed the achievements of the first 10 years of the RAG-Stiftung and made clear that the ground has been prepared for a successful future.

The RAG-Stiftung is working at full steam to prepare for the post coal-mining era. “We have everything in place that will be needed to address the challenges of the future,” said Dr. Werner Müller, Chairman of the Board of Executives of the RAG-Stiftung, during the foundation’s annual press conference today.
