From 6 December 2009 to 2 May 2010, the special exhibition "Glück auf! Ruhrgebiet - Der Steinkohlenbergbau nach 1945"(Glück auf! - the miners’ expression for "Good luck" – Coal mining after 1945 in the Ruhr region) was presented in the newly erected annex building of the German Mining Museum in Bochum.
